Helicals JCI Bridge GroupJCI Bridge Group, Inc. has completed traditional piling, including driven pipe piling, h-piling, timber piles in addition to sheet piling since our beginning in 2005. Our employees have driven thousands and thousands of feet of piling. In recent years, JCI has realized the need to be able to self-perform tiebacks for our own temporary shoring work on our projects. JCI researched available tieback options and have purchased the equipment and training required to install helical piers and anchors.

JCI also realized that there is a need for installers of higher capacity helical piers in industrial and commercial applications. We have subcontracted piling work to general contractors since our beginning and are now able to subcontract helical piling and anchors. JCI is a smaller contractor who is more than willing to come into a jobsite for just a couple of days to install 10 to 20 helicals unlike the large geotechnical contractors. JCI can complete the small projects with just a few helicals up to large scale projects with hundreds of helicals.

JCI became a certified helical installer for Viking Helical Anchors in 2013. Our capabilities include installing anchors with capacities up to 300 kips ranging in size from 2 3/8" to 8" diameter shafts with any flight configuration. We can drive helical piers for vertical axial loads or can drive at a horizontal angle to tieback walls in both temporary and permanent configurations.

Our helical pile materials are supplied by Viking Helical Anchors and you can get more information on their materials from their web site at www.vikinghelicalanchors.com.

Following is a Project Profile from a helical project we completed in 2014.
